Support for LGBTQ2S+ Mental Health

Safe, Affirming, and Culturally Relevant Mental Health Support for the LGBTQ2S+ Community

Supporting the Mental Health of LGBTQ2+ Newcomers

Introduction

Many LGBTQ2+ newcomers and refugees arrive in Canada seeking safety, acceptance, and belonging—but the journey can involve trauma, rejection, or fear of discrimination. Adjusting to a new society while navigating identity, faith, and family dynamics can create mental health challenges.
AmEnough Society stands for inclusion and mental wellness for all identities. We work to ensure LGBTQ2+ newcomers have access to affirming, respectful, and culturally sensitive supports.
