Currently based in Vancouver, B.C. Started my Nursing career in 2007, working at a medium-sized forensic hospital with the East London NHS, United Kingdom.

Since then I have worked in various MH settings and specialist services as a Care Coordinator and Independent Nurse Prescriber. I have nursing experience in Psych Emergency, Assertive Outreach program, Early Intervention in Psychosis, Forensic CMHT, Mood and Personality Disorder services, Assessment and Treatment services, depot and Clozapine clinics all within various NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK.
My Current role is working as a Mental Health and Substance Use Nurse within the Addictions Services, covering a range of addiction Nursing care, treatment and management (including Sublocade, IV Fentanyl for withdrawal management, iOAT – Injectable Opioid Agonist Treatment for Opiod Use Disorder).
I also have travel Nursing experience with the Government of Nunavut as a contracted Community Psychiatric Nurse, providing mental health care coordination, Addiction treatment and Counseling for the Inuit (First nation/Indigenous) people within various communities in Nunavut and building working partnership with communities, Family services, RCMP, local Hamlet, Elders, Housing, Probation Officers, School Principals and staff.
I am passionate about promoting mental health awareness and wellbeing amongst migrants and refugees.
