Betty Achom
“As an LGBTQ2S+ advocate and dedicated volunteer with Am Enough Society in Canada, I stand with those who face discrimination, marginalization, and criminalization—especially in countries like Nigeria where being your true self can be life-threatening. I’ve seen firsthand the mental and emotional toll this takes, and that’s why I’m committed to creating safe spaces, offering trusted resources, and being a voice of solidarity. Through support, education, and compassion, we can build resilience, restore dignity, and remind every individual that they are worthy, seen, and never alone.”
