Community Engagement, Events & Programs
Black History Month:
Every February, AmEnough Society celebrates Black History Month through our signature creative and reflective event, “Let Your Art (Heart) Out.”
This event provides a vibrant platform for Black artists, youth, and community members to express identity, resilience, and cultural pride through music, spoken word, dance, painting, and storytelling.
“Let Your Art (Heart) Out” encourages healing through creativity, amplifies Black voices, and builds cross-cultural understanding within our broader community.
Annual Cultural Festival: Village Square Family Summer BBQ:
The Village Square Family Summer BBQ is our annual outdoor community festival — a joyful gathering that celebrates culture, diversity, and belonging.
The event brings families, artists, and local partners together for a day of food, storytelling, live drumming, children’s games, cultural performances, and wellness booths.
Highlights include:

Cultural storytelling and drum circle led by African Stages.

Naloxone training and mental health education booths.

Free food and family-friendly fun to promote community bonding and inclusion.

Seniors managing isolation, grief, or transition challenges.
The Village Square Festival embodies what AmEnough Society stands for — connection, cultural celebration, and community wellness.
Our Commitment
